Andover Food Bank

We have been learning about Catholic Social Teaching principles in Year 1. We decided to put our faith into action using the principle of Option for the Poor. We asked our school families to donate items for the Andover Food Bank, then sorted, packed and delivered food parcels for local families in need.

Chalking the Doors

To mark the Epiphany, Deacon Michael joined the prefects to bless our school and our classrooms for 2024. We marked every doorway with this sign: 20 + C + M + B + 24 Deacon Michael said prayers and sprinkled us all with Holy Water.

Year 4 Tree Planting 2021 Stewardship

Jubilee Woods with Andover Trees. Everything is interconnected - we are called to look after our world, the gift that God has given us.

Anti-bullying week - Human Dignity

We believe every human person is made in the image and likeness of God. Each one of us is unique and beautiful. We are called to treat every person and every creature with loving respect. Through celebrating our similarities and differences, we develop understanding, tolerance, acceptance and the wonder of difference. We must look after each other and treat each other the way we want to be treated.

Tree Planting 2022 - Stewardship

We with the Andover Tree Project, a town-wide initiative, to plant new trees every year. The world was made by God and we have a responsibility to take care of it - we are the stewards of creation.

JRSO - Ready to Shine! The Common Good

Our Junior Road Safety Officers helped us to learn the importance of reflective and fluorescent clothing during the darker, winter months - Be Bright, Be Seen! The principle of The Common Good means we are called to look after everyone. By raising awareness of how to stay safe during the dark nights of winter, we can help to look after everyone around us.
